When did you start scrapbooking: I started scrapping in 2004, after I got married. I wanted to make a fancy wedding photo album. Nearly four years later and I never did get around to the wedding album. I've done bits and pieces of it, but I got a bit distracted along the way!
Family: Husband Phil, son Jamie and cute fluffball maltese, Jak.
Define your scrapbooking 'style': That's a tough one for me. Vintage at times. Cutesy at times. Grungy freestyle at others. Someone once said it's freestyle that's not over-the-top. I guess it's pretty eclectic really.
Where do you live: We live in a quiet leafy suburb in Adelaide, South Australia.
Favourite scrapbooking brands: BasicGrey, Fancy Pants and Sassafrass Lass. But I tend to buy from a whole range of manufacturers. And usually they all end up mixed up together on the same page - I love to mix it up.
Favourite scrapbookers in Australia: Zina Wright, Kate Mason, Clair Bremner
Favourite things to do other than scrapping: Running around playing with my two year old, catching up with friends for coffee (preferably without the two year old), catching a movie.
Chocolate or vanilla: Vanilla
3 products you use on every layout: Oh gee, this is a hard one. I tend to mix it up a lot. I can't think of three. Let's see... patterned paper (love the patterned paper!).. buttons on every second layout prob'ly... oh, I know, transparencies, I'm just loving the transparencies that are out at the moment.
Favourite movie: The Bourne Identity
Daytime or night time scrapper: Night time, definitely.
Format: 12x12. I need all that white space!
Favourite drink: Champagne
Tidy or messy scrap area: Well, I scrap on the kitchen table so it has to get tidied away before I go to bed. So tidy. Unfortunately.
Overseas location you would like to visit: Germany. We've been there so many times already (my husband's family live there and I went on an exchange when I was in school) but it's the place that we long to go back to, as soon as we touchdown on Australian soil, lol.
Digital or film: Digital
Type of camera: I would love a DSLR but for the moment I have a point and shoot - a Nikon Coolpix 8800 - and everytime I can't get a shot because the autofocus is too slow, or the ISO won't go high enough, or I must use the flash inside, I sigh a quiet sigh...

Why do you love scrapbooking: I love capturing the everyday of our lives. And creating :)
Tips for new scrapbookers: Scraplift. Buy a magazine and find layouts that appeal to you. Then try to copy them. That way you learn what works for you and what doesn't. And you try new techniques and learn things that you might not have tried otherwise.
