Kit Subscriptions - FAQ's

Why should I subscribe to Shop and Crop Kits?

One reason is because we only put together a certain number of kits per month and when they sell out that’s it. By subscribing you guarantee your kit will be delivered to your door, the same time every month. Our Kits contain everything you will need to create two to three gorgeous layouts, including the designs! Subscribers also pay less!

What is the difference between Crop Kits and Cropaholics Kits? Crop Kits are our regular monthly kits, containing new co-ordinating products and instructions sheets for two layouts designs, priced at $29.95 per month (for subscribers). Cropaholic Kits are our 'deluxe' monthly kit containing over $74.00 worth of co-ordinating products and instruction sheets for two to three layout designs (or sometimes BTP projects/cards etc), priced at $73.95 per month (for subscribers).
What do the Kits include?
Each kit varies in products but generally you will receive: 3-7 sheets of co-ordinating patterned paper, 2-7 sheets of Bazzill cardstock and different embellishments such as ribbon, chipboard alphabets, chipboard shapes, rub-ons, label holders, tags, buttons, flowers, brads etc. Occasionally our Kits will contain products for a BTP project instead of a layout. Each kit always contains plenty of products so that you have lots left over to use on other layouts. Each Kit also includes two or three full colour instruction sheets, written by the Shop and Crop Design Team member that designed it. So, Shop and Crop Kits are more than just products in a box, we also provide you with layout/project designs, you just add your photos and put it together! Too easy!
 
Who designs the Crop Kits?
Crop Kits are designed by the Shop and Crop Design Team and guest designers. So you are guaranteed a well designed kit every time!
 
How long does my Crop Kit Subscription last?
Subscriptions (except for the Basic Grey Bi monthly page of the Month Kit which is a 12 month subscription) are for a minimum of 6 months, but continue each month indefinetely, until cancelled in writing.
 
How much is the monthly subscription?
Each monthly Crop kit is $29.95, each monthly Cropaholic Kit is $73.95,each monthly Kaisercraft Kit is $29.95 , the Basic Grey Kit is $59.95 bi monthly and each monthly Card Kit is $39.95 + postage ($7.95 Australia, $14.95 New Zealand). Express postage is also available to Australian customers at an additional cost. If you would like your parcel insured, the cost of this is an extra $2.95. We do recommend this. You can choose to subscribe to one or both kits. If you subscribe to both kits we can combine them for shipping and only charge you ONE postage fee.
 
Is there a discount for subscribing?
Yes, kit subscribers receive their kit much cheaper than non-subscribers. eg. The Cropaholics kit for subscribers is $73.95, and for non-subscribers costs $79.95.
 
What date are the kits released?
Kits are released and posted between the 13th and 15th  of each month. This will mean that depending on your location, you will receive your kit sometime between the 16th and 26th of the month. Shop and Crop will give a ‘sneak peek’ of each kit in newsletters leading up to the release date.
 
What date is my credit card deducted each month?

The preferred payment is  credit card payment for Kit subscriptions. Your credit card will be charged on the 10th or 11th of each month.

Paypal and bank deposit is available , but will incurr an additional $2.50 processing fee. If you choose either of these options we will send you an invoice for payment. We must receive the cleared payment by the 10th of the month, to ensure that your kit is posted with the rest of the kits
 
Can I combine a separate store order with my subscription if I want to?
Yes, if you place your order between the 1st and the 9th of the month, and let us know in the comments field that you would like it combined with your subscription for that month. This way you will only pay one postage charge, and everything will be sent together.
What if I want to cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription anytime after the initial 6 month period (in writing), but you must cancel before the 1st of the month to cancel from the next month’s Crop Kit. ie. If you do not wish to receive the February kit shipping on 16th of Feb, you need to cancel by the 31st of January.
What happens when I subscribe?

Once you have subscribed you will receive the next available Kit. If the current month’s kit is sold out your first Kit will be the following month’s kit.
How do I subscribe?

To subscribe please go to the current kits category, add the subscription to your cart and proceed through the Checkout.
