Tim Holtz Crayon – Seedless Preserves

12x12 Heavy Cardstock

Prima Stamp

1x 4x6’’ size photo or alternatively you can cut a 5x7’’ photo down to size.

Adhesive/ double sided tape

Foam Mount

Glossy Accents

Sewing machine

Black Thread

Acrylic Block

Hole Punch

Texture Paste

Water bottle

Black pen

Step 1: With a black pen and a ruler make out your sew lines till you have a grid like about. Rough measurements are ½’’ for the boarder and then a line every 2’’.

Step 2: Sew on all your lines in black thread. You can alternate your stitches every so often throughout the background.

Step 3: You should have all your lines covered in stitching.

Step 4: Add texture paste over the first 3rd of the background making it wider at the top and tapering down towards the bottom of the background.

Step 5: Using your prima stamp carefully into the texture paste.

Step 6: While you are waiting for that to dry use a whole punch and with your scraps punch out some confetti and set it aside.

Step 7: Once your texture paste is dry, draw over the top of the texture paste with your Tim Holtz Seedless Preserves Crayon.

Step 8: Mist where the colour is and work it with a paint brush, flick the excess over your layout. Allow to dry naturally. While you’re waiting for it to dry, cut the frame out of the pattern paper #3 and attach your photo to it, then set it aside.

Step 9: Cut 6 x ¾’’ strips out of pattern paper #1 and stick in an uneven pattern over your purple paper.

Step 10: Cut 6x ½’’ strips out of pattern paper #2 and stick over the top of your white strips. Also at this point you can add small pieces of washi into these layers (optional).

Step 11: Stick your framed photo with foam mount over the strips of paper. Cut your title out from pattern paper #4 and stick to the page (bottom right hand side of the photo).

Step 12: Stick your confetti over your background sheet.

Step 13: Add some of the tabs (leftovers from layout #2 in the Cropaholic kit) to the left hand side of your photo.

Now your layout is complete.
